Our most recent headache (as if Grant's not enough!

The best pose I could get from my wonderful husband

We finally started our laminate floors. What a project! It has taken us two Saturdays already and we haven't even finished the hallway. We will do about 600 square feet total by the end of it. Nick has been a trooper though and I'm sure we'll get it done eventually!

First swim!

Grant and I went swimming for the first time. Grant screamed the first time I put him in the water, probably because it was quite cold. He got used to it though, but even then, didn't quite know what to think.

First time on the boat

My first summer on the boat (1983) and Rebecca's first time on the boat (2008) - notice the life jackets!

Grant's first boat trip

My Sister, her girls, Nick, Grant, and I went on our boat for the first time. Poor Grant had this huge life jacket on (it's the same one until he's 30 lbs)!, but slept pretty much the entire time except when it was time to eat. Thank goodness he slept so much because it would have been very difficult to comfort him while he was in the life vest! It was great to take our kids on the same boat that Sara and I were on as kids.

All Smiles!

Grant has started smiling! It has been very tough to catch on camera, especially because he doesn't smile all the time, but it sure does make him more fun!

Blessing Day

We had the wonderful opportunity to bless Grant at church on Sunday. Nick gave him a beautiful blessing. I am so grateful that Nick honors his priesthood and is able to bless our family this way. We also go to speak on Pioneers the same day. What a day!

Lily's Boy

Lily is doing much better with Grant than we thought she would. She is very patient and wants to give him as many kisses as we do. She also likes to cuddle with him.

Best Friends!

Cami, Camden, and Ashlee came to visit us. Cami was dissapointed that Grant wasn't a girl because she was convinced that they they could grow up and get married. Now, however, they're going to have to settle for best friends.

Camping

Babies babies everywhere! For the 4th of July, we went camping with two families. One of them added twins to their family about a month before Grant was born. I'm sure people thought it was kind of funny as we trugged up the mountain to Rancheia falls with babies everywhere!
