My mom came last week to make truffles with me. Nick thought he would share a truffle with Grant. I'm afraid that we're creating a monster, who will have nothing to do with vegetables when we introduce them next week. Why eat peas when Daddy give you licorice and yummy truffles!?

Brylee loves sweets too. She still eats her fruits and veggies, but she goes crazy for sweets. She knows what they look like and lets us know when she wants them. Funny kids.

So last night I gave Nora a bite of ice cream. She's had little bites before too. No big deal right? Except this time she absolutely freaked out when I handed the blizzard back to Adam in the front seat (of the car). She wanted more, dernit!! So I gave her a little more and then handed it back to Adam and again she screamed at the top of her little lungs. Sheesh. That's a new one. Basically she screamed until the ice cream was gone and out of sight. I kind of thought that if I never let on that sweets were so much more delicious than veggies that she'd like them both equally. I was wrong. Very wrong.
